Ataraxia Chardonnay 2018 (6x75cl)
You know class when you taste it, and this is certainly that. Deservedly established as one of South Africa's most consistently outstanding Chardonnays, this has the structure and concentration to age, with no malolactic at all, 22% new wood and complex, nuanced, stony flavours of lemon zest, oatmeal and stone fruit – Drinking to 2028
Drinking Window: 2020 - 2028

Ataraxia is one of Walker Bay’s most prominent boutique style wineries, and a source of some of South Africa’s finest Chardonnay. The wines are made by Kevin Grant, a former biologist turned wine maker who focuses on bringing out the site properties in each wine. Four wines are currently produced from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and a red blend made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot, called Serenity.
