Bouscaut Blanc 2021 (6x75cl)
|
2021 |
Bouscaut Blanc 2021 (6x75cl) Jancis Robinson (17)Still a little cloudy, suggesting lees ageing. Really exciting energy, masses of ripe fruit and a top note of light struck-match character. Very long. Bouscaut does it again with its white wine! Sherbet and savour – more complex than many dry white bordeaux. Still a bit of chew on the end.

Carbonnieux Blanc 2021 (12x75cl)
|
2021 |
Carbonnieux Blanc 2021 (12x75cl) Neal Martin - Vinous (92-94)The 2021 Carbonnieux Blanc has a relatively spicy bouquet, very slight touches of muscat filtering through the citric fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a spicy entry and good weight. Persistent in the mouth, leaving behind a long, saline aftertaste. This is another excellent dry white Bordeaux.

Carbonnieux Rouge 2021 (12x75cl)
|
2021 |
Carbonnieux Rouge 2021 (12x75cl) Antonio Galloni - Vinous (91-93)The 2021 Carbonnieux is gorgeous. It has more than enough mid-palate depth and overall richness to fill out its frame. Dark red cherry, plum, cinnamon, spice and incense all flesh out with a bit of aeration. Pliant and yet also nicely structured, the 2021 is a winner. I loved it.

De Fieuzal 2021 (6x75cl)
|
2021 |
De Fieuzal 2021 (6x75cl) Wine Advocate (92-94)The 2021 de Fieuzal Blanc shows considerable potential, unwinding in the glass with aromas of crisp nectarine, mint, pasty cream, citrus oil and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and tensile, with tangy acids, chalky dry extract and a long, saline finish, it will be bottled under Diam 30. This Sauvignon Blanc-Sémillon blend is rapidly establishing itself as one of Bordeaux's most interesting dry white wines. Tasted three times.

De Fieuzal Blanc 2021 (6x75cl)
|
2021 |
De Fieuzal Blanc 2021 (6x75cl) Jeb Dunnuck (92-94)The 2021 Château De Fieuzal Blanc (65% Sauvignon and 35% Semillon) is terrific and shows the quality of the vintage. Giving up ripe tropical and melon fruits as well as notes of honeyed flowers and chalky, mineral-like nuances, it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, a bright, vibrant, chiseled texture, and a great finish. It's beautifully done and well worth seeking out.

Haut-Bergey Blanc 2021 (12x75cl)
|
2021 |
Haut-Bergey Blanc 2021 (12x75cl) The Wine Independent (90)The nose is relatively neutral and understated on the 2019 Haut-Bergey Blanc, delivering delicate scents of limes leaves, lemongrass, and fresh hay over a core of baked apples and wet slate. The light to medium-bodied palate reveals an oxidative style with broadly expressed, savory characters and a lively backbone to support, finishing with a quiet intensity. If you are looking for an earthy, toned-down style of Pessac-Leognan blanc, this is it!

La Louviere Blanc 2021 (6x75cl) Neal Martin - Vinous (93-95)The 2021 La Louvière Blanc has a well-defined bouquet of apricot blossom, quince and crushed stone. La Mission Haut-Brion 2021 (3x150cl)
|
2021 |
La Mission Haut-Brion 2021 (3x150cl) Jane Anson Inside Bordeaux (97)Plenty of classic La Mission finesse and balance, touches of cloves and velvety tannins, this is surpremely balanced and elegant, with pummice stone minerality. It is a little taut on the finish in its tannic structure and no question majors more heavily on the cool blue fruit character than we have seen with this property in recent years. Seriously enjoyable, a total masterclass in cool climate fruit delivery. Easy to recommend. 73% new oak, harvest september 20 to October 8. No frost impact here and very little mildew, meaning the overall yield was up to 47hl/h, extremely generous for the vintage.
