The second wine of Château Nenin, the 2021 Fugue De Nenin has lots of up-front red and black fruits as well as some herbal and tobacco notes. First made in 1997 and sourced from more sandy soils around the estate, it's medium-bodied, charming, up-front, and will be ready to go right out of the gate.

The 2021 Fugue de Nénin is supple, fruity and very easy to like. A burst of sweet red cherry, spice, blood orange and mint are front and center in this easygoing, wonderfully pliant Pomerol.

Lightly structured but fruity and aromatic with a touch of sweetness on the palate. Everything in place but simple and for early drinking.

The 2021 Fugue de Nénin, matured in 15% new oak, has a pretty, if simple, pastille-like bouquet with red cherries and cranberry scents, just a hint of blue fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy ripe red fruit laced with white pepper, gentle grip and ample weight. It feels approachable, as a Deuxième Vin should be, with a dash of spice on the granular finish. Fine. 13.00% alcohol
