La Chenade 2013 (6x75cl)
This is really delicious and delicate with a silky, refined structure. Medium body. The aromas of roses and strawberries are so enticing.
The 2013 La Chenade displays a touch more fruité than the Saintayme with red cherry, cranberry and rose petal aromas that are nicely defined. The palate is well balanced with fine, slightly edgy tannin, a touch of raspberry and citrus fruit towards the focused, gently grippy finish. This is a delicious Lalande-de-Pomerol for the vintage and outperforms many 2013 Right Banks with grander reputations.
