Colombier
Domaine Colombier is based in the Northern Rhone. The Viale family first planted vines at the foot of the famous Hermitage Hill in 1929. The towering Florent, the 3rd generation of Viale’s, started bottling the estates crop in 1992. Using traditional methods, like no filtration, they make some of the best most consistent Hermitage and Crozes Hermitage wines. Their focus is on ripe fruit but they have plenty of complexity, structure and ageing potential.

The mineral and floral notes drive an extremely long, well-delineated finish, where dusty tannins provide shape and final grip. |
