    Feudi San Gregorio

    About Feudi San Gregorio

A leading light in the renaissance of Southern Italian wine, the Campania-based Feudi San Gregorio has been producing truly profound expressions of their exquisite terroir for over three decades. Founded with the singular mission to protect and further the local winemaking traditions of the area, this is a hidden gem of the highest quality.

Feudi San Gregorio is located in the Irpina appellation of Campania. Beautifully rugged and ancient, winemaking and vine cultivation have existed here alongside the olive trees and wild herbs for time immemorial. So unfathomably old is the presence of vines here that they were described by the Roman author Pliny some 2000 years ago!

Irpina’s terroir is totally unique, with an incredibly varied topography of mountains, hills and plains giving rise to a system of winds that brings cooling rains and steady breezes to temper the southern Italian sun. The result of this is an area conducive to gentle ripening and complex fruit.
