Château Lassègue
About Château Lassègue
A beautiful 18th-century property found in the southwest hills of Saint-Émilion commune, Château Lassègue is blessed with perfect sun exposure, incidentally, the inspiration for their emblem, producing one of the most opulent and rich Merlot-based clarets in the appellation. Apart from its ideal sun exposure which guarantees optimal phenolic ripeness, the soil here is mostly clay and limestone planted with 50-60-year-old vines. There is little doubt that this combination of terroir has almost limitless potential, and the capable estate gives rise to wines of exquisite minerality and impeccable balance.
