Lynch-Moussas 2006 (12x75cl)

Wine Advocate (86)

Tasted at Bordeaux Index's annual 10-Year On tasting in London and then at the château. The 2006 Château Lynch-Moussas seem mature on the nose with pleasant tobacco-tinged red berry fruit, plenty of forest floor aromas coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly stringy tannin. It is missing some weight towards the second half, but there is still adequate freshness here to suggest that it will offer several more years of drinking pleasure. Tasted April 2016.

Lynch-Moussas 2014 (12x75cl)

James Suckling (94)

Classic aromas of lead pencil, blackcurrants and currant bush. Medium to full body, velvety tannins and a focused finish. A beauty. So classy and serious. Best ever? Hard not to drink now. Almost all cabernet sauvignon. Try in 2020.

Lynch-Moussas 2019 (12x75cl)

James Suckling (94-95)

A big, rich LM with lots of blackcurrants, black chocolate and tar. It’s full and layered with loads of fruit and ripe tannins. Muscular and rich. Extracted. A wine for aging. 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot.
