Nenin
The Delon family took over Chateau Nenin in 1997. They brought a wave of fresh air; building a new cellar and introducing pioneering winemaking techniques that were so successful for Las Cases. This Pomerol is now mellower, with richer fruit and enticing notes of cedar. This estate is on the rise.

This is a special wine with unique black-cherry character and hints of hazelnuts. Full bodied, tight and totally melted together with the firm and ultra-fine tannins Extremely long.Inc. VAT£560.44 -
James Suckling (97-98)
This is from only the old vines in the clay and gravel soils on the plateau. Really fantastic. It’s medium-to full-bodied and the tannins just roll off the palate at the end. Dark fruit and spices. So long. One of the best modern wines from here? 68% merlot and 32% cabernet franc.Inc. VAT£412.24 -
Wine Advocate (93-94+)
I was immensely impressed by the quality of the 2021 Nenin, a wine that's the fruit of an immensely strict selection—and several consecutive nights of frost protection. Offering up aromas of sweet plums, wild berries, raw cocoa, black truffles and nicely integrated new oak, it's a medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety wine with lively acids, melting tannins and a layered, concentrated profile with a long, penetrating finish. Tasted twice.Inc. VAT£597.89
