Rouget 2007 marks another step up in quality by this Chateau. It has a light nose with plenty of provincial herbs. It has lively notes of black cherry and ripe strawberry meshed with earth, tobacco and gravel. The palate is medium bodied, with light soft tannins and a long finish.

Rouget

Chateau Rouget has one of the longer histories in Pomerol dating back to the 1700s. The Labruyere family have owned it since 1992, heralding a vast array of improvements to fulfil their ambition for the estate. After re-planting and consulting Michel Rolland they are now realising that ambition.
