Vray Croix de Gay 2014 (12x75cl)
Plumy, medium-bodied, soft and fresh with a ripe, plum, earth and smooth, chocolate dusted, black cherry finish. 89-91 Pts
Drinking Window: 2018 - 2028
Review Date: 1st March 2015
The Château Vray Crois de Gay 2014 has a well-defined bouquet with dark plum and blackberry scents mixed with black truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and fine tannins, but missing a little length. This is actually one vintage where I would opt for the Guichard’s Saint Emilion cru, Château Le Prieuré.
