Penfolds Bin 23 Pinot Noir 2017 (6x75cl)

James Halliday (95)

Matured for 9 months in French barriques (30% new). Clear, bright crimson; immediately proclaims the vintage with cherry blossom and wafts of spice, cherry essence on the light to medium-bodied palate, and a distant skein of tannins and French oak. By far the best pinot from Penfolds so far.

Penfolds Reserve Bin A Chardonnay 2016 (6x75cl)

James Suckling (97)

Very compelling and polished with pithy grapefruit, lime, citron and struck match, some stony minerals and a handy serve of toasty oak – there's a lot on offer. The palate is twitching with boldly-flavored fruit and a powerful, composed mid-palate. Plenty of grip, plenty of punch and plenty of depth. A polished finish. Drink now.
