Matured under meticulously monitored conditions for over 40 years in refill American hogsheads, this was finally bottled when it reached immense maturity in July of 2020. An outturn of just 65 bottles makes this particularly special installment of G&M's Private Collection exceptionally rare and special. Bottled at Natural cask strength of 42.4%
Colour: Dark gold.
Aroma: Fresh lemon sherbet aromas combine with polished oak and a hint of white pepper. Ripe, tropical fruit notes compliment sweet white chocolate and dried apricots.
Palate: Juicy lime and walnut lead to seville orange and passionfruit. Gentle flavours of mixed spices give way to sweet honey and delicate chamomile.
Finish: Medium-bodied and creamy with lingering lemon zest on the finish.
