The 2021 Chardonnay Eola Springs is the first commercial release of Chardonnay from Rose & Arrow. “We acquired this vineyard a few years ago,” winemaker Felipe Ramirez says of the west-facing, higher elevation, rocky site in the Eola-Amity Hills. “This is the first time we feel that we have the quality that can compete with the quality of our Pinot Noirs,” he continues. The wine was barrel fermented and underwent full malolactic conversion. It was matured for 11 months in oak and an additional seven months in stainless steel.
