Data Analyst / Artificial Intelligence Analyst

Cru World Wine is a leading fine wine platform providing market access, secondary market trading and portfolio management services to around 40,000 clients globally.

We are passionate about leveraging technology to deliver best-in-class services to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in AI to help us unlock new insights and opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to analyse complex data sets and identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.

- Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to create predictive models and develop data-driven recommendations for improving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

- Develop and implement AI-driven marketing strategies to optimize website content, drive organic traffic, and improve search engine rankings.

- Design and maintain performance dashboards, providing regular updates to stakeholders on key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Collaborate with the technology team to integrate data analysis tools and processes into the company's existing systems.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis, AI in general, and AI-driven SEO.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

- Some experience in data analysis, with a focus on AI.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.  

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

 

Advantages

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn) would be an advantage

-Experience with SEO tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush would be an advantage.

Account Managers - USA

Cru incorporated its USA legal entity in Q4 2021. Our office in San Francisco is established and we have inventory landed in the US in our California warehouse. Our USA website (us.cruworldwide.com) is fully funcitonal. Account Managers - United Arab Emirates

We are looking for experienced fine wine account managers to join Cru in the United Arab Emirates. Cru offers a state-of-the-art digital platform through which clients can buy, sell, trade and manage a fine wine / spirits collection. We are looking for professionals based in the UAE with connections to High Net Worth Individuals to help us bring this exciting collection/investment opportunity to greater prominence across the region. 

 

The role can be either full-time and salaried (plus commission) or part-time in combination with other activities. Ideally, you will be based in Dubai. The focus of this role will be the development of private client business, not restaurants and hotels.

Operations Executives - Hong Kong

We are seeking an Operations Executives to join our global Operations team.  Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the successful candidates will:

 

- Have some knowledge of operations, preferably (but not essentially) in fine wine / spirits.

- Have an interest in shipping / customs / warehouse operations.  

- Be a resourceful problem-solver, who is detail orientated.

- Possess a methodical work attitude and be numerate / good with spreadsheet software.

- Be a Mandarin speaker (or at least able to write Mandarin and Cantonese).

Business Managers - Greater China

Cru World Wine is a thriving Fine Wine&Spirits company focused on High Net Worth collectors in Hong Kong (and across Asia). Today, we are looking for super-dynamic individual to head our new WFOE entry into the Chinese Mainland market. The role will only suit candidates with a strongly entrepreneurial personality. The duties will be very varied:


    1. Operations – overseeing our supply chain routes into Mainland China);
    2. Marketing - overseeing the development of our WeChat store and other marketing initiatives;
    3. Legal and Financial - assisting the Finance team in managing the WFOE itself
    4. Customer Acquisitiondeveloping and implementing a customer acquisition strategy for Mainland Chinese clients.


We realise that this role will not suit many candidates. But if you are sitting in an office (or home!) somewhere frustrated and bored because you know you could be contributing much more than your current employer lets you - then you might be person we are looking for.

Fine Wine Traders

Cru is looking for experienced or trainee Fine Wine Traders to join our Asian and European trading teams. We are happy to consider candidates based in any location.

 

Cru has created an excellent platform through which to serve experienced collectors in fine wine across the world. Our platform and local operations are all in place, and we have an excellent system through which to source, price and market fine wine. Cru is also becoming increasingly active in managing fine wine / spirits portfolios for external investors.

 

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our global trading team to source wines/spirits for managed portfolio and retail clients.

 

The successful candidates will be:

 

- Highly commercial;

- A savvy and robust negotiator;

- Either experienced at sourcing wines/spirits of the very highest quality, or with a keen interest in fine wines;

- Able to write offers of a high standard;

- Able to win the trust and confidence of producers and intermediaries; and

- Interested in the digital future of fine wine.

 

The role will suit dynamic and analytical individuals, who are adapt and using screening tools to identify opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to identify, execute (i.e. negotiate the purchase of) and market (i.e. write up a trading idea) for each opportunity.
