The 2015 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is an attractive, gracious La Morra Barolo that will drink well right out of the gate. Sweet tobacco, cedar, mint, crushed flowers and sweet dried cherry are all nicely lifted. Readers will find a translucent, ethereal Barolo that is all about perfume and silkiness. The 2016 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a classic wine from this site. Fresh and vibrant, with superb depth, the Rocche shows just how appealing the vintage is. Dark cherry, spice, mocha, cedar and leather build in the glass. More than anything else, I am so impressed with the wine's depth and dimension.
