Much deeper and richer than the 2013 Brunello from Valdicava, this beautiful wine finishes very long and ultra-smooth. It is the best wine I have ever had from this estate. |

The palate is medium to full-bodied yet weightless, with angular tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, salty finish that just keeps building. This is my favorite in the range, one of the outstanding wines of the vintage as a whole, and it should only improve with time. Drink 2027-2057. |

Tobacco, dried herbs and sweet red cherries all flesh out in this large-scaled powerful Rosso. There is plenty of depth to fill out the wine's broad frame. At the same time, the 2011 is clearly evolving fairly quickly and needs to be enjoyed sooner rather than later. |

Finishes with wonderful purity and outstanding length.
