Vinous (95)The 2020 Chardonnay Amelia from Quebrada Seca, Limarí, was aged for 12 months in 15% new oak. Yellow in color, with mildly intense aromas of apple and pear, a little lime and hints of ginger and hazelnut; the bed of pineapple enhances the other details. In the mouth, this is chalky and saline, with good tension and a voluminous flow before the refined finish of hazelnut and fruit. A delicate coastal Chardonnay. |

Wine Advocate (95)The super elegant, pale and delicate 2020 Amelia Pinot Noir is really captivating, floral, perfumed, nuanced and harmonious. It has a terrific balance and texture and great purity of flavors. It follows the style of the already-amazing 2018 from two different soils from Quebrada Seca in Limarí. The grapes with 13.5% alcohol fermented with 20% to 30% full clusters in open-top vats and matured in Burgundy oak barrels, 20% of them new, for one year. 4,800 bottles were filled in April 2021. |
