The 2022 vintage stands as the coolest on record in the past decade. A late flowering followed by an extended growing season has resulted in lower yields and a concentration of flavours. These conditions have ultimately given rise to a harvest boasting optimal ripeness, remarkable natural acidity, and distinct characteristics. Both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from this vintage have garnered exceptional critical acclaim from The Real Review and Halliday Wine Companion, two of Australia's most respected wine authorities.

Continuing to impress with unwavering consistency, Tolpuddle Chardonnay has achieved two 98-point ratings this year with its 2022 release. Described as "magical stuff" (TRR), this barrel-fermented white wine exhibits a "complex and penetrating" profile (TRR), showcasing a "smoky, nutty, barrel-fermented bouquet" (TRR). Combined with the invigorating freshness of the vintage, this "bright and refreshing" white wine culminates in an "amazing length"!
