Today we have the new release of their Pinot Noir dominated cuvée, the Vilmart Coeur de Cuvée 2012. Scoring a huge 96 points from Antonio Galloni, this 'super-refined' champagne is a 'remarkable beauty' that balances the 'natural intensity of the year with tremendous energy and vibrancy'.

The joint-highest score ever, on par with the 2008 vintage, you will find its 'depth, power and tension absolutely compelling' (AG). Made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, this has Vilmart's textbook refinement with the added weight from the Pinot resulting in a wine that Galloni rates as a 'Don't miss' !

Based in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne, at the foot of the Montagne de Reims, Vilmart & Cie were one of the pioneers of ‘grower’ champagne movement and under the guidance of Champs since 1989, the house has risen to become one of the 'top estates' (Wine Advocate) in Champagne.
