Limpid pink. Expressive red berry, orange zest, nectarine and floral aromas show fine definition and a hint of spiciness. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering taut red currant and strawberry flavors that pick up a minerally nuance with air. Smooth and focused on the finish, which lingers with bright, floral- and mineral-driven persistence. - Josh RaynoldsIn Bond£80.00
Alongside Whispering Angel and Domaines Ott, Château Miraval is now one of the most renowned Provençal rosés that has come to grace our wine glasses under the blue sky of summer.
While most wine lovers will know of Miraval for its famous owners, Brad Pritt and Angelina Jolie, this is not some fad celebrity wine producer. The estate is run and managed by one of the Rhône's, and indeed France's, most prominent and respected winemaking families, Perrin & Fils of Château de Beaucastel.
Bringing the wine to life with a rare prestige and pedigree for such an affordable rosé, this blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah is the perfect summer drinking wine. While it already has an extensive following among loyal rosé fans, the critics are equally as applauding, with this even previously winning Wine Spectator's 'Best Rosé in the World'. It is hard to compete with this at only just over £13 per bottle IB.
Sitting cherry blossom pink in the glass, the unctuous and enticing aromatics really take you by surprise with the 2020 release. Giving off notes of red apple, strawberry, watermelon and a slight hint of pink grapefruit and citrus, this is a wine characterised by its freshness. Incredibly vibrant and youthful on the palate, this Miraval Rosé strikes a perfect balance between wine that you can drink all afternoon in the summer sun but with enough substance and tact that it will pair perfectly with food.
Released at only £80 per case IB, Miraval's Rosé has become one of those quintessential accompaniments to summer and the 2020 vintage should be no different. Stock up for the summer of freedom to come!
