    • Puygueraud 2008 (12x75cl)

For serious connoisseurs seeking an epitome of Bordeaux sophistication, indulge in the Puygueraud Cotes de Francs 2008. This remarkable wine hails from the esteemed Thienpont family, masters of viticulture in Bordeaux since the 19th century. Exquisitely crafted within the prestigious Cotes de Francs AOC, the eloquent soil, combined with optimal maturation, created this laudable vinous expression.

Harvested from a medley of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec vines, this 2008 vintage bespeaks of terroir specificity and vintner dedication. It exudes an alluring aroma of ripe black cherries and plums, foreshadowing the captivating palate of luscious fruits, replete with spicy and earthy undertones. Each sip reveals the careful process of 18 months of maturation in French oak barrels, tethering an ageing potential of 10-15 years.

Effortlessly elegant and complex, the Puygueraud Cotes de Francs 2008 adds an impressive flair to any wine collection, perfectly embodying the esteemed Bordeaux wine-making tradition.

    • Puygueraud 2020 (12x75cl)

      Vinous - Neal Martin (90)

The 2020 Puygueraud has a very satisfying and harmonious nose: blackberry, briary, freshly rolled tobacco and light truffle scents, nicely focused and composed. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, as I found in barrel. Quite Left Bank in style with graphite notes towards the finish with a briny aftertaste. Excellent.

    • Puygueraud Blanc 2017 (12x75cl)

      Jancis Robinson (17)

Owned by the Thienpont family, the wine made by Nicolas Thienpont. Includes 15% Sauvignon Gris. Only a third of the vines survived the frost. Sauvignon Blanc (85%) clones from the Loire. Fresh herby citrus and some nice notes of orange peel. Almost peachy on the palate but excellent freshness and intensity, clean cut. Bright and lively and deliciously mouth-watering. Persistent, too. Orange-peel aftertaste. Lovely.

    • Puygueraud Blanc 2018 (12x75cl)

      Vinous - Antonio Galloni (91)

The 2018 Puygueraud Blanc, 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Sauvignon Gris is an absolutely fabulous dry white. Orchard fruit, citrus and floral notes are front and center. More than that though, the 2018 impresses for its freshness, energy and delineation. It's a gorgeous white with texture and character to burn. I loved it.
