Sigalas Rabaud
Chateau Sigalas Rabaud consists of two properties in Sauternes with a history of being divided and reunited. In the 1980s a part share was sold to Domaine Cordier, their input was key to creating the consistently superb sweet wines they are known for. A decade of cellaring adds greater quality.

(12x75cl) 2013Vinous - Ian D'Agata (92-94)
Bright, pale yellow-gold. Reticent but extremely pure, floral aromas of fresh tropical fruit salad, sweet spices and vanilla, lifted by mineral and lemony botrytis nuances. Wonderfully honeyed, pristine tropical and fresh citrus fruit flavors are complemented by clove and nutmeg. Harmonious acidity lifts and extends the wine's fruit flavors at the back. The 2013 vintage really plays to this estate's strengths, as Sigalas Rabaud is always a refined, graceful Sauternes. Superb potential here.Inc. VAT£445.61 -
