This is beautifully proportioned and refined in expression. Medium-full bodied, the fruit is tightly bound but clearly rich and succulent, showing flavours of ripe blackberries and black plums with hints of blueberries along with liquorice melded with black pepper, iron-earth and subtle black florals. This has a concentrated core with linear drive and energy, the fruit balanced by fine-grained, significant tannin structure and fresh, integrated acidity. The wine flows with textural finesse and succulence, leading to a long and sustained, vibrant finish.
