Vinous (89-91)

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru is deceptive in its mid-weight feel, as all of the wines here. There's good depth, for the year, yet the Corbeaux comes across as embryonic and not fully formed. Dark cherry, violet, crushed flowers and lavender build nicely in a wine that will have more to say in the future. The vibrant finish is quite attractive. - Antonio Galloni
