To its credit, the 1994 Pichon-Baron does not reveal any vegetal notes. It should evolve nicely for 10-15 years, representing an attractive, well-made, medium-bodied, classically rendered Bordeaux. Suave, fine-grained and densely packed, with lovely violet lift to its concentrated dark fruit and mineral flavors.
