An interesting and equally fresh and ripe nose combines notes of black fruit coulis, kirsch, violet and a floral whiff. The delicious, vibrant and more refined medium weight flavors possess an attractive texture thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that buffers the moderately firm tannins on the slightly more complex and sneaky long finale. This too offers very fine quality for its level. In Bond£1,174.00 -

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes comes from 80-year-old vines. Plump red fruit leads the charge on the nose, segueing into an off-dry palate that offers white pepper-dashed strawberry and Morello fruit. Just when I'm getting excited, the finish is a tad drier than anticipated. Hopefully, it will be remedied during its remaining barrel maturation. In Bond£848.00
