Sweet tobacco, dried rose petals and crushed berries all develop in the glass. Above all else, the 2011 is a wine of perfume, silkiness and pure texture. There is so much to like here. |

Kind of "old school" Pinot Noir in some ways, thanks to the 100% stems, but fresh as a daisy and quite persistent on the saline finish. Superb. |
