The refined, punchy and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors coat the palate with dry extract while displaying excellent persistence on the balanced, youthfully austere, stony and tightly wound finale. This stylish effort has the stuffing to age effortlessly and, at present at least, is slightly more complex than the Clos du Caillerets. |

The variations among Burgundy's many appellations and the importance of individual winemakers philosophy's make vintage guides complex. Vintage advantages can also differ slightly for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Nonetheless we have put together a selection of some of our favourite vintages from Burgundy.
