The 2014 Puligny Montrachet Village Cru offers lilting dewy green apple and wet limestone aromas on the nose, underneath subtle scents of orange blossom lending more complexity as it opens in the glass. The palate is crisp and fresh with a twist of bitter lemon on the entry. This is well balanced with good weight, plenty of energy on the tip of the tongue with a pleasant saline finish. The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a fresh bouquet of fennel, mint and light hazelnut aromas, all complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is vibrant and fresh on the entry with a fine bead of acidity. Harmonious from start to finish, it delivers an appealing spiciness that leaves the tongue tingling, thanks to a dab of ginger on the aftertaste. Very fine.In Bond£880.00
