The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and slightly waxy in texture. A discreet grilled walnut note develops toward the finish. A complex Valmur, this, and reassuringly persistent on the aftertaste. |

An excellent volume of white fruit and flesh, a dusting of ripe citrus zest, a structure more typical of Cote d’Or, the oak fully integrated and proper persistence. Drink from 2027-2036.
