Bodegas Frontonio
About Bodegas Frontonio
There is something about remote and beautiful places being magical locations for growing vines, and Ferando Mora MW has certainly proved this with his winery Bodegas Frontonio in Aragón, north-eastern Spain.
Producing wines from their mountain vineyards in a 240 year old cave below a house in the village of Alpartir in the Valdejalón IGP, Fernando and his team have been receiving enthusiastic praise from both the Wine Advocate's Luis Gutiérrez and Jancis Robinson MW for their stunning, high-altitude Garnacha and cementing themselves “right at the top of the hierarchy in Aragón” according to Spanish expert Gutiérrez.
Currently working across an impressive 55 hectares of vines, the majority of which are certified organic
