Combines the energy and precision of the '08 with the greater volume of the '09. This compellingly chewy, extract-rich wine, still a bit brooding and short of its peak, expands and builds inexorably on the aftertaste. Finishes with a pungent peppery suggestion that may be from the whole-cluster fermentation.
