Vinous (98)The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos Vineyard is very clearly one of the wines of the vintage. One of the things I love about the 2019 is the way it conveys power and density, but without weight. In that sense, it is perhaps atypical for Napa Valley Cabernets in this vintage. Even so, I find the sense of beauty here absolutely beguiling. The 2019 Kronos is an absolutely stunning wine. I could describe the aromas and flavors, but that seems pretty banal for a wine that is so clearly towering in its splendor. Don't miss it! |
