Rollin Pere & Fils
Founded four generations ago by Raymond Pére, an agricultural worker from another estate, he had to cultivate his vineyards in his spare time. This estate has been built up slowly holding true to its ideals of meticulous hard work and tradition, whilst minimising any treatments in the vineyard.

Vinous (93)The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a pure bouquet with white peach and orange blossom scents. A little linseed oil comes through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, a very subtle reduction, poised and quite persistent towards the spicy finish. This is a convincing Corton-Charlemagne that should age with style. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting. |
