Faugeres
Château Faugères attained Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé status in 2012. The wine is a blend of typically 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is produced with the help and advice of the revered Stephan von Neipperg and Michel Rolland.
The estate is currently owned by Silvio Denz, a perfume designer and owner of several wineries. The vines sit atop a limestone plateau, on south-to-southeast facing slopes farmed using natural sustainable viticultural practices.
