Frédéric Savart: The Man Behind the Name
Frédéric Savart is the owner and winemaker of a small family-owned estate in the village of Ecueil, situated in the Montagne de Reims region of Champagne. Savart fell in love with the vines at a young age, inheriting the tradition and craftsmanship from his family. Today, his passion and determination have led him to become one of the most respected artisan producers in the region, crafting elegant and complex champagnes with a unique signature style.
An Exceptional Winemaking Philosophy of Frédéric Savart
Frédéric Savart believes in minimal intervention and sustainable winegrowing, ensuring the preservation of the environment and the vineyards' natural balance. He meticulously tends to his vines, applying organic methods to nurture their growth, and hand-selecting fruit during the harvest to ensure only the highest quality grapes are used. Savart's winemaking approach is grounded in precision and respect for the terroir, resulting in enchanting champagnes that truly express their unique origins.

The Frédéric Savart range of champagnes include the coveted L'Ouverture, a delightful blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that showcases his trademark style of finesse and terroir expression. The L'Annexe, another noteworthy creation, is a sublime single-vineyard Pinot Noir that captures the essence of Ecueil's distinct terroir.
