This respected Sauternes estate has had a long and colourful history since it first entered into the record books in 1766. A tumultuous period of mismanagement on the part of the original owner Pierre Guiraud was followed by an ambitious period of promotion and reputation building throughout the early 1800s. For the next 200 years the estate gained further fame and renown as a top-tier Bordeaux estate and one of the best in Sauternes. Also noteworthy is the delicious and incredible value dry white now made under the label 'G' de Guiraud.
