Pibran
The wine of Chateau Pibran draws on the heritage of Pauillac’s outcrops. Established at the turn of the 19th century, Pibran’s wine is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of twelve months. Whilst this 17-hectre vineyard may be in its infancy by Bordeaux standards, tradition leads the way.

Vinous - Antonio Galloni (92)The 2017 Pibran is a juicy, absolutely delicious Pauillac to drink now and over the next decade or so. Sweet tobacco, cedar, licorice, mint and dried cherry add pretty aromatic top notes to round things out. The 2017 is not super complex or structured, but it is a wine of immense pleasure and sensuality. I loved it. |
