Vinous (93+)The 2017 Barolo Arborina is a big, dramatic wine. Super-ripe red fruit, mint, white pepper and spice are all amplified in a Barolo that takes all the signatures of this well-known La Morra cru and turns up the dial. As always, the Arborina has some nervousness in the tannin, but historically that is one of the things that has helped this wine age well. There is certainly no shortage of character here. |

Vinous (92)The 2018 Barolo Arborina is a bit more open than it usually is. There is less depth, but also less tannin and overall structure. All the elements are nicely balanced, though, and that is why the 2018 shows so well. Sweet tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers and espresso add aromatic complexity throughout. |

Vinous (93)The 2019 Barolo Arborina is a bright, effusive wine. Macerated cherry, licorice, dried herbs, pine and mocha all meld together. Sensual and plush, with terrific depth, the 2019 is showing very, very well today. It's a classic Renato Corino Barolo, perhaps a bit less exuberant than most years, but impeccable in its balance and overall harmony. |

Vinous (96)A big, sweeping wine, Corino's 2010 Barolo Rocche Annunziata bursts from the glass with layers of sweet, intensely perfumed dark red fruit, flowers, mint, licorice and sweet spices. A vivid, striking wine, the 2010 flows across the palate with superb depth and purity. The creamy, textured finish is pure Rocche. This may very well be the finest Rocche Renato Corino has ever made, and that includes the 1990.The young Nebbiolo tannins are there, but they are virtually covered by the richness of the fruit. |

Vinous (96)Rich, heady and exotic in its beauty, Corino's 2016 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a total stunner. In the glass, the 2016 Rocche is seamless and silky, with striking textural richness and persistence. Super-ripe red cherry, red plum, rose petal, mint and kirsch infuse the 2016 with layers of nuance. All the elements meld together in a rich, sumptuous Barolo that captures the essence of this great La Morra cru. |

Vinous (94)The 2017 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is such a pleasure to taste. I feel like I am in La Morra, in Rocche dell'Annunziata, looking down the patchwork of parcels on this steep hillside. Freshly cut flowers, mint, spice and sweet red/purplish berry fruit notes abound. More than anything though, the 2017 is distinguished by its silky tannins and exceptional balance. In a word: sublime. |

Vinous (93)The 2018 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a very pretty and elegant wine. In 2018, there is maybe just a bit more nervousness and tannic spine than most years. Floral and spice accents lift the bright red/purplish fruit. At times relatively open and forward, while in other moments more restrained, the 2018 is full of complexity. This is nicely done. |
