I loved the 2012 Pinot Noir de Villiers. It's a beautifully complete, balanced and satisfying Pinot Noir that does everything right. Giving up tons of sweet black raspberry and strawberry fruits, spice-box, dried flowers and potpourri characteristics, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless, with a ripe, supple texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. While there's more than enough fruit to keep this enjoyable now, there's some solid tannin and depth in there as well, so it will age.Inc. VAT£602.69 -

The 2018 Pinot Noir de Villiers Vineyard shows the natural intensity of the year in its powerful, broad personality. Dark blue/purplish fruit, gravel, incense, tobacco and mocha all flesh out in a Pinot that marries textural richness with plenty of grip and vertical lift. I would cellar this for at least a year or two, and that likely won't be enough for the 2018 to enter its sweet spot.Inc. VAT£593.09 -

The 2018 Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard offers tons of aromatic presence to match its nervy, decidedly mid-weight personality. Crushed red flowers, blood orange, cinnamon, star anise and red berry fruit are nicely lifted. There is a bit of nerviness, and yet the 2018 comes across as one of the more open knit of the estate Pinots.Inc. VAT£527.09 -
Vinous (94)
The 2018 Pinot Noir Ryan Vineyard is quite deep and heady in this vintage. Red fruit, iron, white pepper and savory herbs give the Ryan its distinctly incisive, feral personality. Hints of blood orange, raspberry and spice add an exotic flair. There is plenty of character here, that is for sure.Inc. VAT£527.09
