Careful precision, juicy expression of the fruit, this draws out through the palate with sappy tannins and a touch of astringency on the finish. The viticulture, as you would expect here, was precise and informed by their long experience in California, no trimming, with high canopy for the shading, with as little interference as possible (they say 'don't demand too much of the vine in these kind of vintages'). 38hl/h yields, helped by vines with an average age of 60 years, 65% new oak, 15 different forests, 24ha estate.
