  • Prince Florent Merode Corton Bressandes 2006 (6x150cl)

An exemplar of legendary Burgundy wines, the Prince Florent Merode Corton Bressandes 2006 is unparalleled in viticultural elegance. Hand-crafted from old-vine, Grand Cru plots in the Corton Bressandes climat, this exquisite vintage hails from the esteemed house of Merode, a family-owned winery with a rich heritage dating back to the 19th century. • Taupenot Merme Corton-Rognet Grand Cru 2015 (6x75cl)

    Wine Advocate (93-95)

The 2015 Corton-Rognet Grand Cru has a fragrant bouquet with blackberry, raspberry preserve, crushed rose petals and just a hint of blood orange, quite sophisticated in style for a Corton-Rognet. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy tannin on the entry. This does not shortchange you on fruit: blackberry, raspberry and a pinch of white pepper, leading to a structured and quite grippy finish that like Taupernot-Merme's other 2015s, manages to retain impressive freshness and elegance. It has an incredibly long aftertaste, over a minute in the mouth and you can still feel this. Highly recommended.

  • Taupenot Merme Corton-Rognet Grand Cru 2020 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (93-95)

The 2020 Corton-Rognet Grand Cru has a very well-delineated bouquet, very terroir-driven, crushed stone infusing the red fruit a touch of white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fresh acidity, taut and crisp, gently building towards quite a complex finish with touches of Early Grey infusing the red fruit, cracked black pepper on the aftertaste. Excellent.

  • Tollot-Beaut Corton Grand Cru 2011 (6x75cl)

    Burghound (92)

An attractively layered nose offers up notes of violet, plum, smoked meat hints and plenty of warm earth character to the wild dark berry fruit aromas. There is excellent volume to the ripe, intense and powerful large-scaled flavors that exhibit fine intensity on the powerful, balanced and vibrant finish that delivers its usual fine length. This isn't quite a robust as it usually is though it's a big wine all the same and will require an extended cellar siesta. Drink: 2023+

  • Zuccardi Aluvional Gualtallary 2016 (6x75cl)

    Wine Advocate (97)

The 2016 Aluvional Gualtallary is a textbook example of the wild character of the place in a cold vintage. This comes from the subzone close to the monastery, a higher-altitude place (1,350 to 1,450 meters) with the influence of the Jaboncillo slopes and the caliche (a kind of limestone) in the soils. 2016 is a great example of how to tame the wilderness of the place, which, in the cooler year, means contained ripeness and superb texture. 2016 has to be the finest vintage for Gualtallary. 10,300 bottles were filled in February 2017.
