Sweet dried cherry, mint, cedar, tobacco and crushed leaves open nicely. I would prefer to drink the 2018 over the next handful of years. It has a lush, sensual texture of crushed velvet, and is full-bodied without feeling heavy. There are plenty of dense, savory tannins extending the very long finish, creating a combination of seductive charm and power. This is something special, a great achievement in this vintage.
