The 2017 Mazeyres is bold, juicy and super-expressive. Mocha, espresso, licorice, grilled herbs and menthol all develop nicely, with floral and savory overtones that add brightness and lift. The Cabernet Franc is especially notable in both the wine's flavor and structural profile. I would prefer to drink this perfumed, expressive Pomerol over the next decade or so. The 2017 is very nicely done. Tasted two times.

  • Marquis de Terme 2017 (6x75cl)

    Vinous - Antonio Galloni (93)

The 2017 Marquis de Terme is absolutely gorgeous from the very first taste. It's great to see the 2017 has turned out so well, as it was so promising in barrel. The purity of the flavors is truly remarkable. A wine of total sophistication and polish, Marquis de Terme has a lot to offer. Time in the glass just brings out its gracious, super-refined personality even further. The 2017 finishes with terrific freshness, cut and nuance.

  • Marsau 2017 (6x75cl)

    Vinous - Neal Martin (83-85)

The 2017 Marsau, 14-hectares on clay soil, offers light brambly red fruit on the nose that lacks a little depth and concentration compared to other vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, sharp on the entry with quite high acidity, leading to a straightforward, slightly austere finish.

  • Mauriane 2017 (6x75cl)

The Mauriane 2017 captures the epitome of luxury, embodying the richness of France's Bordeaux region. This opulent blend from the illustrious Château Moulin Saint-Georges vineyard, under the watchful eyes of the Vauthier family for generations, is a testament to fine winemaking traditions. Mauriane 2017 is crafted using the pristine Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, hand-harvested at optimal maturity and aged expertly in oak barrels.

The resulting confluence is a harmonious gesture towards excellence, offering a voluptuously textured palate and a bouquet brimming with dark fruit, cocoa and spice. The wine's formidable tannic structure is beautifully balanced by a burst of acidity, rendering a long, elegant finish. Mauriane 2017 is an ode to dedicated craftsmanship, honed over centennials, yielding a wine resonant with depth and character, a definitive choice for discerning enthusiasts. Immerse in the unique experience of sipping Mauriane 2017, a true depiction of Bordeaux's wine artistry.

  • Mazeyres 2017 (12x75cl)

    Vinous - Antonio Galloni (92)

The 2017 Mazeyres is bold, juicy and super-expressive. Mocha, espresso, licorice, grilled herbs and menthol all develop nicely, with floral and savory overtones that add brightness and lift. The Cabernet Franc is especially notable in both the wine's flavor and structural profile. I would prefer to drink this perfumed, expressive Pomerol over the next decade or so. The 2017 is very nicely done. Tasted two times.
