The total area is 0.1854-hectares. It has a brilliantly defined bouquet with vivid red fruit, crushed limestone and crushed rose petals. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant, lithe tannins, a mixture of red and black fruit. Slightly granular in texture, hints of hoisin toward the finish with a long saline aftertaste. 100% new wood. Intense purple without the black. The nose is all in the fruit, not quite so intense. The wood adds a gloss without detracting, this is all about the fruit which has a mind boggling intensity and can carry the degree easily, stretches out much further behind. Better acidity too. 100% new wood. Intense purple without the black. The nose is all in the fruit, not quite so intense. The wood adds a gloss without detracting, this is all about the fruit which has a mind boggling intensity and can carry the degree easily, stretches out much further behind. Better acidity too. This is very complete and absolutely marvellous. It has unquestionably held on to its balance. Thanks to what Emmanuel Rouget calls a salivating acidity.In Bond£3,020.00 -

Vinous (91-93)
The 2019 Vosne-Romanée La Croix Rameau 1er Cru has quite a different bouquet than Lamarche’s other crus, offering deep red currant and cranberry fruit, and more savory, with light garrigue-like aromas. The well-balanced palate shows good grip on the entry. Very well balanced, with tart red fruit laced with crushed limestone toward the finish. The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from all the domaine’s parcels except for La Colombière. This has a fragrant bouquet of rose-petal-tinged dark berry fruit; the 40% new oak is nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. A little pinched at the moment, but it will flesh out with aeration. Fine.In Bond£483.00
