The 2020 Clos de Vougeot Hommage à Jean Morin, a special selection of bunches within the old vines, the bunches the closest to the trunk. It contains around 60-70% whole bunch layered in the vat. It has a complex nose with mainly black fruit, that oyster shell influence once again, just a touch of black olive. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine backbone, quite linear but it expands on the finish. The whole bunch is very nicely enmeshed here and there is real salinity on the finish.
