Tasted blind, the 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées also put in a superb performance, unfurling in the glass with an attractive bouquet of ripe red berries, incense and candied peel, framed by a touch of light reduction that segues into sapid bass notes of smoked duck. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, lavish and multidimensional, with supple tannins, a dramatic core of fruit and succulent underlying acids. This is a very promising Brûlées from Domaine d'Eugénie.Inc. VAT£2,580.04 -
