The palate is medium-bodied with lace-like tannins that frame the pure dark berry fruit, judiciously sprinkled with white pepper and bay leaf hints. The palate, with its fine but youthful mousse, is beautifully aromatic, showing that same mouthwatering tart apple note on green plum. Gentle smokiness appears on the finish.
